R3 – CAMA Festival Build-up

With a whole load of soul in his robotic electro sets, R3, Shanghai’s hottest DJ talent, is looking to make his mark on Hanoi when he plays Hanoi as part of the build up to CAMA Festival 6.

R3 dominates the Shanghai club scene with his electro brews and forward thinking club nights as part of S.T.D (Sonically Transmitted Disease). It all started when he realised nobody was playing the kind of music he wanted to hear. Now his sound – punky synths, electronica, rock and indie techno – is what everybody wants to hear, a point proven when his performance at the UDance festival had more visitors than any other on China’s no 1 online radio station – U Dance Radio.

When not headlining Chinese music festivals, R3 finds time to do plenty of production and remixing. Currently working on a new EP to be released on Modern Sky, he’s also featuring on an upcoming album by Brisbane rockers, Teleprompter.
