Scrambled Edge – CAMA Festival Build-up
As part of our CAMA Festival build up week, HCMC’s Scrambled Edge, a man with one of the best DJ names in the business, is coming up to Hanoi to showcase his dance floor talents on Friday June 1 from 9pm.
Edge is widely considered one of the pioneers of the dance and electronic music scenes in Asia. Since ’91 he’s been equally at home playing latin rhythms at carnival as he is when knocking out floor filling house classics for Saigon’s dOSe parties. His eclectic selections and wide knowledge of music from nu jazz and loungecore, to world and rare grooves have seen him play everywhere from Barcelona to Tokyo.
He’s played alongside some of the music businesses biggest names, including Richie Hawtin, Roger Sanchez and Josh Wink, yet his biggest influence on the industry in Asia has been felt via his work as a promoter of trailblazing music concepts having conceived successful projects in the music industry such as Music TV channels, and digital music networks.
Yet it all boils down to party starting and that’s how Edge made his name. Catch what Saigon dances to every weekend, only at ATK.
