Francesco Tristano Live (Tuesday 26 June)
CAMA are delighted to announce that young classical music pioneer, Francesco Tristano will be playing at ATK on Tuesday 26 June as part of a collaboration between CAMA and the Embassy of Luxembourg.
A young musician and composer causing a stir, not only on the club scene, but also in classical concert venues is probably a world-first. Purists from both the classical and techno camps both agree: they don’t know quite what to make of this young, Luxembourg-born musician who refuses to stick to the rules. He caused a stir by playing techno using sheet music, then riled up the Classical world by mixing his own composition – just like a DJ – into a piece by Frescobaldi.
29-year-old Francesco may well be the only musician in the world combining these two seemingly irreconcilable genres – Classical and Techno. His collaborations with Carl Craig have thrown up four to the floor dance tracks that appeal to both the brain and the feet with more than a passing resemblance to Four Tet’s recent work on Ringer and There is Love in You.
Unquestionably, Francesco Tristano throws up something different, which is why CAMA thinks you’re going to like him.
CAMA would also like to give their thanks to the Embassy of Luxembourg for their generous support in organizing this event.

I want to go to this event but I’m not quite sure about tickets. Do I need tickets to enter? If I need it, how can I get it and what’s the price? I hope I can get the answer as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hi, Thanks to the support of the embassy of Luxembourg this event is free. However, ATK is a small, intimate venue and 45 tickets have already been distributed so come down early to avoid disappointment.
